One day out but getting involved in World planting day in the only way we know how. The first steps to new preserves and fresh pop up shop produce and Rita’s cooking and baking ingredients starts here.
“The World Planting Day is celebrated on March 21st, encouraging people to plant trees and engage in gardening activities. It originated as part of the “Let’s Plant the Planet” campaign in 2007, with the goal of planting one million trees in Germany. Since then, it has spread worldwide, with over 15 billion trees planted to date. The day is not only about planting trees but also about promoting sustainable gardening practices. People can create their own vegetable gardens, join community gardens, or participate in tree planting initiatives. “
