Community eventsIn addition to our educational services for schools and colleges we run a varied programme of events throughout the year for the whole community. Activities cater for a wide range of ages and interests, and make use of the tremendous natural and historical resources of the Beaulieu Estate and the New Forest. Children's partiesThis is a new service offered to Friends of the Trust (the person booking for their son or daughter needs to be a family member). The aim of our parties is to offer fun, outdoor activities in an exciting but safe environment. They are based at the Treehouse Study Centre or Out of Town Centre, Beaulieu. Choose from a range of themes suited to the different age groups (generally the range is 4 – 10 years old) and the venue. Woodland Adventure parties at the Treehouse Study Centre include themes such as bugs, animals, survival (for 7 year olds +), birds, Robin Hood and even a pirate theme! Farm Parties are based at the Out of Town Centre and include a Treasure Hunt on the farm and in the garden with fun activities en route. Each party lasts for two hours and includes at least one hour of organised activities. Optional extras include party food and eco-friendly party bags. Contact us for more details. CoursesWe offer both evening and weekend courses for adults and families on a variety of environmental and countryside topics such as woodland crafts, natural history, astronomy, outdoor and survival skills. We also run guided walks, boat trips and farm tours, and have open days throughout the year. Full details appear in our 'Set Out' newsletter published in January, April and September each year.
